Irene has been in the health and fitness industry for over 25 years working in gyms, personal training, group fitness classes and outdoor group training. Irene has worked in various fitness centres before starting Elite Bodies in 2006. Irene has competed as a gymnast and trained as a bodybuilder. She also previously played competition touch football. Irene is qualified in Certificate III - Gym Instruction and is a Master Personal Trainer. She is also Better Back
Certified (working with back injuries), has THUMP Advanced Boxing/Kickboxing certification as well as XLR8 for Speed and Agility training. Irene’s knowledge and experience is unsurpassed by her passion to help others lead a long and strong life. Irene’s expertise is with mature clients both male and female.
As a mature woman Irene is able to best understand clients’ changing needs and train them to be the best they can be at every age.
Irene is available for personal one-on-one training (including boxing for fitness) and also leads our Group Fitness Sessions. |

Sam has been in the fitness industry since before birth, she often claims, as the daughter of Elite Bodies Owner Irene Malcolm. Professionally, however, she has been in the industry since 2006 working in group fitness and personal training, training both male and female clients. Sam is a keen runner having competed in various half marathons, marathons and has completed the 45km off-road Six Foot Track run.
She is qualified in Certificate III - Gym Instruction and is a Master Personal Trainer. She is also Better Back Certified (working with back injuries), has THUMP Advanced Boxing/Kickboxing certification as well as XLR8 for Speed and Agility training.
Sam recently become a first time mum, and understands what is required (and the limited time availability) to regain your pre-baby body and fitness. Sam is passionate about helping others achieve their personal goals and to be the best they can be.
